The National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UltraTech Cement Limited to enhance skill development and capacity building across the construction industry. According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the partnership will focus on structured training and certification programs for civil engineers, ready-mix concrete professionals, contractors, construction workers, and masons nationwide.
The initiative will provide comprehensive training on critical areas such as material quality testing, concrete mix proportioning, durability, and sustainable construction practices. It aims to develop a skilled workforce capable of supporting India’s expanding infrastructure and housing needs.
The MoU signing ceremony at NCB, Ballabgarh, was attended by Dr. L. P. Singh, Director General of NCB, and Er. Rahul Goel, Head of Technical Services at UltraTech Cement Limited.
