In the Indian bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading 0.9 per cent down at 1 lakh 46 thousand 130 rupees per 10 grams, while Silver was trading 2.2 per cent down at 2 lakh 31 thousand 220 rupees per kilogram a short while ago.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold for the August contract was trading nearly 0.8 per cent down at 1,45,798 rupees per 10 grams, and Silver for the September contract was trading two per cent down at 2,31,354 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.
