Over 1,200 Interviews Conducted by 39 Recruiters; Strong Focus on Women Empowerment

The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), in collaboration with Hamdard Learning & Welfare Society (HLWS) and Roznama Asia Express, organized a highly successful Mega Job Fair at Dr. Rafiq Zakaria College for Women in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Held on June 14, 2025, the event marked a significant milestone in employment facilitation efforts for underprivileged communities.
A total of 1,203 interviews were conducted by 39 participating companies and recruiters, offering over 7,700 job openings across various sectors. The fair concluded with 526 candidates being successfully shortlisted and selected for employment opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Shaukat Mufti, Executive Secretary of HLWS, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s impact:
“Our partnership with AMP continues to yield promising results. We look forward to expanding this initiative to a PAN India level, ensuring that job seekers from every region gain access to such opportunities.”
Dr. Maqdoom Farooqui, Principal of the host college, commended the initiative:
“We are heartened by the overwhelming response. This event has proven to be a meaningful step toward connecting job seekers, particularly women, with viable employment. We hope such fairs become a recurring feature on our campuses.”
Highlighting the fair’s community impact, Shareque Naqshbandi, Editor-in-Chief of Roznama Asia Express, said:
“This event is a landmark for Aurangabad. Seeing hundreds of youth, especially students, receive job offers is deeply encouraging. We are committed to supporting more such employment initiatives in the near future.”
Shahid Haider, Head of AMP’s Employment Assistance Cell (EAC), noted the fair’s increasing effectiveness:
“Every AMP Job Fair strives to improve upon the last. Our pre-fair Employability Training sessions proved highly beneficial in helping freshers crack interviews and secure jobs.”
The event’s success was made possible by the collaborative efforts of AMP’s local team, the faculty and volunteers of Dr. Rafiq Zakaria College for Women, and the staff of Roznama Asia Express.
