BSNL Records 10% Rise in Revenue in First Quarter of FY 2026-27: Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited BSNL has provisionally posted around 10 per cent increase in revenue from operations in the first quarter of financial year 2026-27.

Speaking to media after the Strategic Review and Planning Meet of BSNL in New Delhi today, Mr Scindia said, as far as the total revenue is concerned, directly from business operations, there is about a 10 per cent increase in revenue over last year. He said, last year, at the close of first quarter it was at 4,017 crore rupees and this year, it is at 4,418 crore rupees, an increase of 401 crore rupees.

The Minister said, BSNL’s enterprise business segment and consumer mobility have shown growth while the consumer fixed access segment has remained almost flat. He said, BSNL’s average revenue per user has provisionally increased from 100 rupees to 102.7 rupees. Mr Scindia said, BSNL is on the trajectory of growth.
