Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the first pre-budget consultation with leading economists in New Delhi on Friday for the upcoming union budget. Along with the finance minister, Minister of State for finance Pankaj Chaudhary, Finance Secretary and Chief Economic Adviser also attended the meeting.
