Oil prices climbed today as supply disruption risks from rising geopolitical tensions in west asia helped to counter demand fears after a surprise build in U.S. stockpiles.
Brent crude was up by 0.52 percent to 85 dollars and 69 cents per barrel. The US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 0.44 percent to 81 dollars and 26 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
