Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Union government secretaries on Tuesday at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Seva Teerth, to discuss reforms aimed at improving Ease of Living and Ease of Doing Business, while also seeking suggestions on promoting self-reliance and governance reforms.

Secretaries have been invited to present their views and suggestions on one or more of the following themes.

The Cabinet Secretariat has asked officials to focus primarily on “What I have done” and “What I can do” while presenting their ideas. As a secondary focus, they may also suggest “What can be done by others” to further improve governance and public service delivery.

Each intervention will be limited to a maximum of three minutes per topic. A secretary who has already spoken on one subject may be given an opportunity to speak on another, subject to the availability of time.

The interaction is expected to provide a platform for senior bureaucrats to share reform initiatives, identify bottlenecks, and propose measures to enhance administrative efficiency, ease of doing business, and citizens’ ease of living.
