US stocks ended higher in a choppy trading session yesterday after a White House announcement confirmed that President Donald Trump has granted a one-month exemption on his proposed tariffs on auto imports from Mexico and Canada for US automakers. On Wall Street, the Nasdaq Composite increased over 1.4 percent, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average as well as S&P 500 closed over 1.1 percent up.
