The Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) book stall has become a focal point of interest at the ongoing Delhi University Literature Festival. Drawing large crowds of students, faculty, and visiting bibliophiles, the stall stands out for its extensive collection of spiritual literature and self-help resources.
The primary draw for attendees has been the timeless classic, Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda, available in multiple languages. Visitors were seen engaging deeply with the stall’s offerings, which include books on Kriya Yoga, meditation techniques, and the “How-to-Live” series. Many students expressed that amidst the academic rigor of the festival, the Yogoda stall provided a unique space for mental peace and spiritual inquiry.
Organizers noted that the stall’s popularity highlights a growing trend among the youth to balance modern education with ancient Indian wisdom. The presence of the Yogoda Book Stall has added a layer of “spiritual literacy” to the event, making it one of the most visited corners of the festival.
