Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that the international situation related to the Iran, America and Israel war has increased the challenges in the petroleum sector, which has led to hike in petrol prices. He said that during this period, India has achieved a new direction of progress in every field. Quoting the data, Mr. Puri said that since 2014, more than 24 crore people have been brought out of poverty. Similarly, more than 4 crore pucca houses were built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and the ownership rights of these houses have been given in the name of our sisters and daughters.
He said that the Prime Minister not only seriously thinks about the welfare of the country but also works as a sevak, keeping the welfare of the people and the development of the country as a priority.
