The Free Medicine Bank and Medical Centre located in Sector 12 of Noida city has emerged as a vital ray of hope for the common man at a time when escalating healthcare expenses are a major source of concern. In a unique initiative driven by a deep sense of social responsibility, Noida Lok Manch has launched a groundbreaking health project that provides comprehensive eye examinations for just ₹30 and dental treatments for just ₹100. This highly accessible service is a living example of dedication and community service, designed specifically to ensure that the most vulnerable and hardworking sections of society are not left behind.

The new facility was officially inaugurated by former Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, along with BJP Noida Municipal President Mahesh Chauhan. During the launch event, the leaders emphasized that true service is that which reaches the needy at a minimum cost, praising Noida Lok Manch for its three decades of continuous dedication to poor, laborer, and middle-class families. Dr. Sharma shared that the ultimate goal of the organization extends far beyond these introductory programs, aiming to establish a full-fledged charitable hospital in the future so that no individual is ever deprived of critical medical treatment due to financial shortages.

This vision is heavily supported by strong corporate and community partnerships. Rishi Pratap Singh, CSR partner for the health project and chairman of the Infosys Foundation, described the launch of these affordable ophthalmology and dentistry services as incredibly beneficial for Noida’s residents. Alongside the Saksham Changemaker Trust, his organization helped fund major infrastructure upgrades for the drug bank and collaborated to launch a brand-new Cornea Project during the event. Singh urged the public to rally behind the newly introduced “Noida Eye Care” campaign and promised that even larger social work initiatives in the health sector are on the horizon. Further expanding on these growth plans, Mahesh Saxena, the general secretary of Noida Lok Manch, announced that the organization will soon launch mobile medical services, sending doctors to conduct two-hour clinics directly within various sectors and villages across Noida to make healthcare even more localized.

The successful launch event was anchored by the well-known national comic poet and writer Vinod Pandey, and it brought together a prestigious group of experienced bureaucrats, medical experts, and social workers who have actively contributed to the project. Among the prominent dignitaries present were Prabhat Kumar, former Governor of Jharkhand and President of Noida Lok Manch; Dr. Yogendra Narayan, former Defense Secretary of India and Senior Vice President of the organization; and J. P. Sharma, former Health Secretary of Uttar Pradesh and Chairman of Health Projects. The medical community was strongly represented by figures such as Pankaj Rathi, CEO of Tirupati Eye Trust; Dr. Mohita Sharma, Chairperson of Tirupati Eye Centre; Dr. Keshav Nathani, Director of Max Hospital; and senior ophthalmologist Dr. H. Nath, alongside Jharkhand University Chancellor Hemant Goel, Noida Lok Manch Treasurer Vibha Bansal, and Vice President Dr. Prabhat Kumar. Countless other dedicated office-bearers, including Jamil Ahmed, P. Jain, Indra Chaudhary, Leeka Saxena, Dr. Jha, Ram Sharan Gaur, Rajesh Srivastava, V. Jain, advocate Vineet Garg, and Mohammed Parvez, stood alongside the volunteers of the Saksham Changemaker Trust to mark the occasion.

Ultimately, the gathering of these diverse leaders reinforced a shared belief that when the spirit of service is genuine and focused entirely on public welfare, no goal is impossible to achieve. This affordable health initiative by Noida Lok Manch serves as a powerful reminder that real societal success is not measured by individual achievements, but by bringing positive, tangible changes to the lives of weaker and underprivileged sections. By continuing to foster this blend of institutional dedication, corporate support, and community sensitivity, Noida is rapidly establishing a new identity as a healthy, aware, and deeply empathetic society.
