The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended the licence of a Delhi-based private hotel for several violations, including the use of degraded cooking oils and poor food quality.

In a social media post, the food safety watchdog said the licence has been suspended with immediate effect for 15 days in the interest of public health. It said the Food Business Operator must immediately cease all food business activities. The food safety regulator has also granted 15 days to the hotel to rectify the shortcomings and comply with all the rules; otherwise, the licence will be cancelled.
