Mahamaya Girls Inter College dominated the 14th Inter-School Drawing Competition organized by the Society for Sports and Cultural Advancement at the Noida Stadium. Organized on the occasion of World Disability Day, Mahamaya students won 7 medals. The Mahamaya team was honored with the Dr. Chandrabhan Memorial Silver Coin Award for winning the most medals.
In the warm sunshine at the stadium, Society President Subhash Agarwal welcomed approximately 450 children from 35 schools across Delhi-NCR. These included students from schools, NGOs, foundations, and madrasas. Children with disabilities also displayed their talents in the competition. Chief guest, former minister Nawab Singh Nagar, and Vice Principal of Mahamaya Girls Inter College, Chhaya Jain, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
The competition featured four categories for students from grades 1 to 12. New Light Public School dominated Category A (grades 1 and 2). Shreyanshi from this school won gold, Shivangi won silver, and Anil won bronze. Students finishing fourth through tenth received incentive prizes.
In Category B (grades 3 to 5), Tapasya from Mahamaya Girls Inter College won gold, Bhagya Bhaskar won silver, and Radhika Yadav from Mohan Ram Public School won bronze. Students finishing fourth through tenth received incentive medals.
In Category C (grades 6 to 8), Shagun Gupta from Sanskar Kendra Sarfabad won gold, Lakshmi from Challengers Group won silver, and Riya Jha from Mahamaya Girls Inter College won bronze. Students finishing fourth through tenth received incentive medals.
In Category D (9th to 12th grade), Harsh Kumar of Kalantar Art Foundation won the gold medal, Anu of Mahamaya Balika Inter College won the silver medal, and Ansh Chaudhary of Panchsheel Balika Inter College won the bronze medal. Students who placed fourth to tenth in this category were awarded commendation medals.

New Light Public School won five medals, while students from Mahamaya Balika Inter College won seven. Mahamaya School was awarded the Late Dr. Chandrabhan Memorial Silver Coin for winning the most medals. This award was established in the loving memory of the father of Professor Nimesh Kumar, Art Coordinator of the Society for Sports and Cultural Advancement, who passed away this year. This award will now be presented to the school management at this competition every year.
Special guest Shamim Ahmed, Associate Director of World of Wonder, presented the winning students with medals and certificates and gave them his blessings. Judges for the competition were M.A. Asif, Deepika Gupta, Shruti Gupta, and Taruna Mathur. The program was coordinated by Professor Nimesh Kumar and Assistant Art Coordinator Dr. Shweta Tyagi.
Present on the occasion were Society Secretary Devendra Kumar, Treasurer Narendra Kuchhal, former President Vimlesh Sharma, former Secretary Dinesh Bhardwaj, members MMA Beg, Santosh Sharma, Kanchan Srivastava, Rachna Yadav, PK Gupta, and Rajesh Suri. All children participating in the competition were provided free refreshments and participation certificates by the Society.
