Noida: A large-scale free health check-up camp was successfully organized today at the Sector-46 Community Centre under the joint initiative of Sumitra Hospital, Sector-35, and the Resident Welfare Association (RWA), Sector-46. The camp ran from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents.

The inauguration ceremony was marked by the lighting of the lamp by Dr. Ankit Gupta, Medical Director of Sumitra Hospital, along with Shri N. Singh, Chairman of DDRWA, Shri Vijay Kumar Rana, President of RWA Sector-46, and other dignitaries including Shri Satish Awana, Shri Sanjay Awana, Shri Tanuj Gupta, Shri Deepak Bansal, Shri Rambir Yadav, Shri Anup Bagai, and Shri Ashok Goel.

A total of 322 residents registered for the camp, availing free consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatment services. A dedicated team of 35 doctors and health workers from Sumitra Hospital ensured smooth execution of the programme. Specialists from diverse fields such as general medicine, pulmonology, physiotherapy, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, nutrition, dentistry, and ophthalmology provided their expertise.

Residents benefitted from a wide range of free tests including blood pressure, ECG, blood sugar, vitamin D-3, bone mineral density, liver function, pulmonary function, fibroscan, thyroid profile, and lipid profile. Additionally, the She Wings Foundation conducted free screenings for cervical cancer and breast cancer through its mobile van, raising awareness about early detection among women.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ankit Gupta emphasized Sumitra Hospital’s commitment to preventive healthcare and social responsibility. He assured that similar camps will continue to be organized to extend timely medical services to the community.
