A mega free health check-up camp was organized in Sector-19, Noida, through a joint initiative of Sumitra Hospital, Sector-35, and the Residents Welfare Association (RWA), Sector-19. The camp was held at the Sector-19 Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents.
The health camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ankit Gupta, Medical Director of Sumitra Hospital, along with R.C. Gupta, President of RWA Sector-19, Sanjay Goel of Bharat Vikas Parishad, and other dignitaries who lit the ceremonial lamp.
Around 320 residents registered and availed themselves of free medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatment advice during the camp. A dedicated team of 22 doctors and healthcare professionals from Sumitra Hospital provided expert medical services across various specialties.
Patients received consultations from specialists in general medicine, chest diseases, physiotherapy, gynecology, pediatrics, and ophthalmology. Several essential health screenings, including blood pressure monitoring, ECG, uroflowmetry, bone density assessment, blood sugar testing, liver function tests, pulmonary function tests (PFT), and FibroScan examinations, were conducted free of cost.
Adding to the healthcare outreach, the She Wings Foundation conducted cervical cancer and breast cancer screenings through its mobile medical unit, enabling women to access preventive healthcare services conveniently.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ankit Gupta reiterated Sumitra Hospital’s commitment to making quality healthcare accessible to all sections of society. He said the hospital would continue to organize similar community-focused health initiatives in the future.
RWA representatives, social workers, and community leaders appreciated the efforts of the hospital and healthcare teams, noting that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting preventive healthcare and early diagnosis among residents.
The organizers described the camp as a successful public welfare initiative aimed at improving community health awareness and access to medical services.
